Teams

AAF (American Alliance of Football) este o nouă ligă profesionistă de fotbal american care își va începe primul sezon în 2019. Liga a fost fondată de Charlie Ebersol și Bill Polian, iar comisarul său este Mike Pereira. AAF va avea opt echipe, fiecare din care va juca un sezon de 10 meciuri, urmat de semifinale și o finală. Echipele vor fi împărțite în două conferințe, East și West. Echipele din Conferința East vor fi Birmingham Iron, Atlanta Legends, Memphis Express și Orlando Apollos. Echipele din Conferința West vor fi Arizona Hotshots, Salt Lake Stallions, San Antonio Commanders și San Diego Fleet. AAF va folosi un format de fotbal american tradițional, cu câteva modificări minore. Meciurile vor fi jucate pe un teren de 100 de yarzi, iar fiecare echipă va avea 11 jucători pe teren. Jocul va fi împărțit în patru sferturi de 15 minute. AAF are o serie de obiective, inclusiv creșterea popularității fotbalului american, oferirea unei oportunități pentru jucătorii care nu au fost recrutați în NFL și crearea unei ligi de fotbal american mai accesibilă fanilor.
