The Thai Women's League (TWL) (Thai: ฟุตบอลลีกหญิง) is a semi-professional league contested by 10 association football clubs. At the top of the Thai football league system, it is the country's primary women's football competition—followed by the Thai Women's League 2.
Since 2009, it has been sponsored by Muang Thai Life Assurance, a life assurance company based in Bangkok, and are thus billed as Muang Thai Women's League.
History
There was no women's league from 2013 to 2016, so most women played for University sports teams. National women's team coach Spencer Prior and others voted for a new league to strengthen the national team.
Thailanda - Liga - Feminin este o competiție de fotbal feminin din Thailanda. Este organizată de Federația Thailandeză de Fotbal și a fost fondată în 1983. Liga este compusă din 10 echipe și se dispută într-un format de tur-retur. Echipa cu cele mai multe puncte la finalul sezonului este declarată campioană.
